Work Philosophy

 

Progress is the goal, not perfection! Small changes promote empowerment and make a big difference. 

  • Assist people with their nutrition and dietary needs.

  • Facilitate individuals fulfill their health goals and play a role in their triumphs.

  • Inspire people to follow a proper diet commensurate with their health state and other needs.

Biography

 

Andreina Pinto is a three times Olympic swimmer representing her home country Venezuela. She earned an Associates of Art in Agriculture from Santa Fe College, and presently, she will achieve her Bachelor Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University.  Andreina developed a passion for nutrition throughout her career as a swimmer. She is a sound-minded person who visited dozens of countries on most continents, and she is able to accept diversity and perceive people from different ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds on an equal basis. Miss Pinto's hobbies include playing various sports such as Tennis, CrossFit, and Spinning. She also enjoys reading in peaceful places like gardens, beaches, and rooftops. Lastly, Andreina Pinto feels characterized by three words; family, discipline and perseverance.

Career Goals

 

My goals are to add to my repertoire and continue learning about the main strategies and interventions of nutrition as I strive toward achieving my goal of being a professional dietitian with many credentials. My goals include the following: 

​

  • Obtaining RD credentials by 2020

  • Earning a Master's Degree by 2022

  • Building a strong clinical foundation by 2022, working initially in the hospital setting and progressing onwards to meet patient needs.

  • By 2024, working for the community in both the public and private sectors.

 

It will be a long and challenging path. However, as an athlete, I am driven and unwavering when it comes to meeting my long-awaited goals, regardless of the challenges and hardships I may encounter along the way.
